Pierre Coetsee, from South Africa, joined our Career Course, completely turning his life around, he now works as a guide at Lion Sands Game Reserve and is loving every minute.
“I come from a fast paced, high pressure working environment and chose a career path that always interested me and would offer a fulfilling life with more meaning and wonderful experiences. MORE Field Guide College was a true experience and a steppingstone for me into the guiding career path. My placement at Lion Sands Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand with River & Ivory Lodge was the best experience I could have ever asked for. I was really honoured to have been chosen for this because I have a true love for the Greater Kruger National Park.
The people there welcomed me with open arms, and they truly are a family. From meeting all the people at different departments to the field guiding team that absolutely blew my mind! I knew this was where I belonged and needed to prove my worth to the team at Lion Sands, MORE Family Collection.
I applied for a position as a guide and was lucky enough to be chosen to be a part of the guiding team.
